SAY YES TO THE DRESS

bride Krystle was such a blast that TLC chose her for a spin-off episode, Say Yes to the Dress: The Big Day. VP worked alongside TLC to film Krystle & Michael’s lavish wedding extravaganza. Our favorite quote from the day came from Krystle herself, “Where are my Oompa Loompas?!”

Amanda and Dustin said their I Do’s on the Pacific Promenade Lawn - overlooking the bright, blue sea – at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Oh my, the colors, the flowers, the lighting! … and just the sweetest couple. This wedding is beyond beautiful. Special thanks to wedding designer Paula Laskelle of Champagne Taste.

As soon as Elena & Tony stepped into the Heritage Museum they fell in love with the 19th century home and knew it would be perfect for their wedding reception. In keeping with the historic feel of the venue, they rummaged the local flea markets, thrift stores, and yard sales to bring the vision of their reception to life, collecting an eclectic mix of items that read like the history of the home. (A silver box draped with a pearl necklace looks as if it’s come right from the dresser of an upstairs bedroom.) Here is the very charming result of Tony & Elena’s love for classic Mustangs, music, and doing-it-yourself, vintage style!

A Wish Come True

It began innocently enough, Veronica and Kelly each had two children when they found each other, and knowing they were meant to be together they joined hearts to form a new family. Then, from this beautiful union, two new little ones came along to make the family complete!

Unfortunately, life can throw some savage punches, and Kelly was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Suddenly, faced with the possibility of having only a limited amount of time together, it became very important to Veronica and Kelly to show their children how truly committed they were to each other. Not only by the loving and dedicated way they lived their lives together, but by declaring their commitment to each other before God and their family and friends. They wanted to get married.

Wish Upon a Wedding, “The world’s first wish granting organization providing weddings and vowel renewals for couples facing terminal illness and life-altering circumstances” – with the help of wedding professionals of all specialties – granted Veronica and Kelly’s wish.

Paula Laskelle, wedding designer of Champagne Taste, had already committed herself to making this dream come true and asked us if we would be willing to donate a wedding film. We were honored to be asked.

It seemed as if it were meant to be – for us to be involved with this particular couple – because in 1992 our six year old son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. We understand firsthand the challenges of this disease. Our hearts and prayers go out to this beautiful family.

But even in the most difficult of times there are moments of joy; and Kelly and Veroncia’s wedding day was filled with just that. Here is the highlight film we produced of this very special occasion.
